The Rotterdam P2 champion pairs celebrate with trophies and padel rackets beneath falling confetti.

Arturo Coello and Agustín Tapia, followed by Ari Sánchez and Andrea Ustero: both pairs who won the Paris Major also claimed victory in the Rotterdam P2 finals, played on October 4, 2026. The titles confirm their strong form on the Premier Padel circuit, but do not by themselves change the rankings or guarantee a place at the Barcelona Finals.

Coello and Tapia claim their tenth title of 2026

In the men’s final, Coello and Tapia beat Franco Stupaczuk and Jon Sanz. It was their tenth title of the 2026 season, according to the International Padel Federation (FIP), which confirmed the tournament results in its report on October 4.

The tournament’s top seeds have now added Rotterdam to their victory at the Paris Major, played at Roland-Garros. Their win in the Netherlands extends their run of success, but the available information does not support drawing a conclusion about a change in the rankings.

Sánchez and Ustero overcome the top two seeds

The women’s final pitted Sánchez and Ustero against the second-seeded Paula Josemaría and Bea González. The Spaniards won 6–4, 6–4 in one hour and 41 minutes.

Their run in Rotterdam also stood out for the quality of the opponents they beat: in the semifinals, they had eliminated the top seeds, Delfi Brea and Gemma Triay. The title was their second in a row and their fourth of the 2026 season. For Ari Sánchez, the final was the 100th of her career.

Like Coello and Tapia, Sánchez and Ustero had already won the Paris Major. Their Rotterdam victory therefore confirms continuity between the two tournaments rather than an isolated result. The FIP says the champion pairs each earn 600 points toward the FIP ranking and the Race to the Barcelona Finals. Those points count toward both standings, but are not enough on their own to establish qualification for the season-ending tournament.

What’s next on the Premier Padel calendar

Rotterdam opens a run of three tournaments in three weeks. The Düsseldorf P2 starts on Tuesday, October 6, followed by the Oysho Milano Premier Padel P1. After their titles in the Netherlands, the next results will show whether the two pairs can extend their run during this busy stretch.

The results and calendar details cited here were published by the International Padel Federation on October 4, 2026.
