Premier Padel and the International Padel Federation (FIP) announced on 28 September 2026 that Sportradar had been appointed official betting integrity partner. This announcement complements a separate project entrusted to iGame Media, which is set to provide technology and distribution for data and betting products on the men’s and women’s professional circuits from 2027.
There are two aims: to structure licensed operators’ access to circuit data and to introduce monitoring designed to detect suspicious betting activity. However, the announcements do not specify which countries are concerned or which national rules will determine whether the offerings are available.
Sportradar will monitor betting markets; iGame Media will manage the products
Sportradar’s role is focused on integrity, not betting distribution. Its UFDS system is intended to analyse betting activity and identify unusual patterns that could indicate match-fixing. The agreement also provides for education and prevention initiatives.
For its part, iGame Media was named on 22 September as the exclusive partner for technology and distribution of data and betting products. The announced offer is to be based on official referee data and include low-latency streaming. Premier Padel refers to pre-match and live markets, covering more than 2,400 matches on the professional tour.
The distinction matters: Sportradar is responsible for betting surveillance, while iGame Media is to provide the infrastructure that enables licensed operators to access the announced data and products.
Live betting could become more accessible, but not necessarily everywhere
The availability of official data and a low-latency video feed could make it easier to create and use live betting markets. This is a change in the scale and organisation of betting offerings linked to the circuit, not proof that the risks of match-fixing are increasing.
Betting is not new to the world of Premier Padel. The circuit announced Betsson as its global betting partner in August 2024. The development announced for 2027 is the introduction of dedicated official infrastructure for data, betting streaming and integrity monitoring.
The announcements refer to licensed operators and regulated markets, but do not list the countries where the products will be offered. Access will therefore depend on the rules and authorisations applicable in each jurisdiction.
Monitoring does not guarantee that fraud will be eliminated
UFDS is presented as a tool for detecting suspicious patterns. The FIP also says it is working with the International Olympic Committee on preventing competition manipulation and developing reporting mechanisms.
These measures may help prevent and detect problems, but they do not guarantee that fraud will be eliminated. Their future effectiveness cannot be inferred from the announcements alone. The 2027 system therefore combines the expansion of betting offerings with monitoring and prevention mechanisms, whose results will remain to be assessed once the system is deployed.
